Global Warming

I have no meteorological or scientific credentials. I speak as part of the laity. It makes sense that global warming is occurring. The polar ice caps and glaciers throughout the world are melting. Where is the water going?

The moisture that used to be captured in ice is now cycling in the atmosphere. A wetter atmosphere is prone to more storms. There is measurable ocean rise already. 

Now that the atmosphere has more moisture. Certain areas are experiencing greater than normal rainfall. Storms and hurricanes appear to be gaining in intensity. The hurricane season appears to be longer. Weather is becoming more erratic.

New record setting cold is occurring because that cold used to be locked up in the polar ice caps. Like super giant cold-batteries. What cold that was stored is now spreading around. Chilling the air the way ice chills the air in an ice chest. 

Once the ice is gone, the water can still chill the air. But only for a while. Once the cold batteries are exhausted thermal run away will occur. The atmosphere will become hotter and more humid. What happens in your ice chest is happening on earth, right now.

Is the Civil War really over?

                                                                     In 1865 the Civil War ended. In reality the war was half over. For  the next 143 years there was a COLD CIVIL WAR. With the election of PRESIDENT OBAMA many thought the CIVIL WAR was over. Some knew the war was about 75 % over. The COLD CIVIL WAR continued. The powers of hate and division were beside them selves. The threat of a government of the people, by the people and for the people loomed.      In 2016 the COLD CIVIL WAR rolled back up to 80 %. The fascists and militants squealed with glee.  The people of the United States are on the verge of a HOT CIVIL WAR. WE the PEOPLE of the UNITED STATES must get up and fight. But how?      Doctor King is still and will always be correct in saying violence is not the answer. We must fight with information, community organizing, and most important VOTING. We must fight a CIVIL FIGHT. If we draw one drop of blood, or vandalize anything. We become them and they win.
